Franchisee Satisfaction is a key component and characteristic of "successful" Franchise Systems. In fact on many occasions I have strongly argued that Franchisors should focus on creating and refining systems that not only create "satisfied franchisees" but, rather, franchisees that are "
raving fans". Franchisees that are "raving fans" create customers who are "raving fans". Franchise Systems with "raving fans" are successful systems.
In a recent 2010 study of "Franchisee Satisfaction" the Franchise Research Institute has identified the following Franchise Systems as excelling in franchise satisfaction.
1. Name of Franchise: BrightStar
Type of Franchise: Home Care Franchise
Liquid Capital Required: $100,000
2. Name of Franchise: Comfort Keepers
Type of Franchise: Senior Care Franchise
Liquid Capital Required: $57,000
3. Name of Franchise: Express Employment Professionals
Type of Franchise: Job Placement Franchise
Liquid Capital Required: $100,000 - $175,000
4. Name of Franchise: The Goddard School
Type of Franchise: Day Care Center Franchise
Liquid Capital Required: $140,000
5. Name of Franchise: Re-Bath
Type of Franchise: Home Improvement Franchise
Liquid Capital Required: $25,000
When evaluating studies there are many variables, so while I cannot attest to the results of this study, I do know one thing: Franchisors and Franchise Systems require satisfied Franchisees for profitability and growth. Franchisors must evaluate their systems from this prospective.
