Are the any franchise laws in Alaska?

 

A: Alaska does not currently have any state specific franchise laws. Franchisors in Alaska should abide by the Federal Trade Commission's Federal Franchise Rule and the Alaska Business Opportunity Law.

When deciding to franchise a business in Alaska or when offering/selling a franchise in Alaska the FTC's Franchise Rule and Alaska Business Opourtunity Law should be followed.
