How long does a prospective franchisee have to review a franchise agreement if a franchisor advises that a change has been made to the franchise agreement?
A: According to the Federal Trade Commission when a franchisor makes a change to the franchise agreement they must notify the prospective franchisee seven days prior to the signing of the franchise agreement in order to allow the prospective franchisee enough time to have the franchise agreement properly reviewed.
