If a franchisee proposes a change in the terms and conditions of a franchise does the franchisor have to make an amendment to the franchise disclosure document in Washington State?

 

A: No. The State of Washington does not require franchisors to make amendments to the terms and conditions of the franchise if the changes are initiated by the franchisee as long as the franchisee was previously provided with an up to date copy of the franchise disclosure documents.
