What needs to be done to offer and sell a franchise in California?

 

A: In order to offer and sell a franchise in California the franchise must be registered with the California Department of Corporations. A franchise can be registered in California by submitting a franchise registration application and supporting documents to the California Department of Corporations one of the following addresses according to the California Department of Corporations website:
