Smashburger Expanding in New Jersey: Franchisors – Is there Value in Marketing to Existing Franchisees

A popular burger franchise is further expanding in New Jersey. Smashburger franchisee‚ Scott Gillman‚ currently owns seven Smashburger locations in New Jersey and plans on opening an additional six locations by the end of 2012. Gillman says that while others may see the current condition of the economy as a downside it has not affected his business and sales. He believes his Smashburger franchise locations have been able to thrive in the down economy due to Smashburger’s low prices and high quality meals.
