Arizona Franchise Filing and FDD Registration: Franchise and Business Opportunity Laws
Arizona is not a Franchise Registration State.
The State of Arizona is not a franchise registration state. This means that prior to offering or selling a franchise in Arizona you do not need to register your Franchise Disclosure Document (“FDD”). However, you must nevertheless ensure that you have a validly issued FDD that has been properly issued and disclosed in compliance with the Federal Franchise Laws. Once you comply with the Federal Franchise law you will be exempt from Arizona’s business opportunity requirements.
